Beyond the Meal: A Call to Connection

The other day I was listening to the radio on my way to pick up the kid from school. They gave an illustration, but because it was on the radio it was about 10 seconds long and you know I'm gonna add to it so here goes. Imagine your great grandparents are alive and...

In Christ – Free Scripture Printables

Just in case I haven't told you one bajillion times already I have a devotional book coming out soon about the woman at the well. The first section is all about names and what God calls us, things like forgiven, justified, chosen, bought, adopted, and more. I took...

Waging War

Roughly a year and a half ago I wrote a post about battle, you can read it here. I'm still praying for some of the situations I was praying for then. Other battles have came and gone and there are new battles that started after that post was written. Things have...

Romans 8:28 My Story

I've always planned to tell parts of my story from these last few years. Parts are too personal to share, but there are parts that God weaved together that I believe are just too good to keep to myself. So let's jump in and head back to March 2020. I recall the exact...

Battle Time

For those that don't know much about me, I grew up the youngest of five children in a christian home. My father wasn't saved for the first few years of my life, but he knew and taught us the Word even before he was saved. I can go back for generations and see the...

Faith Like Abraham Part 1

I have plans, ya'll, big plans, but sometimes I just sit those off to the side and do other things. For example, I planned to do a whole series on Faith Like..., I planned to have screensavers, worksheets, and more and then it didn't happen. For the past few weeks...

Trust

I was in two Sunday School classes today. Strange, I know, but that's just the way it went. Both had the same lesson but the teachers went in very different directions. The lesson was simply titled A Friend of God. The first lesson focused on obedience. Luke 15: 14...

They Can’t Come In Unless They’re Invited

In recent months my niece informed me that she didn't think she had ever seen the 1992 movie Buffy The Vampire Slayer. If you've never seen it, just know it is a very cheesy and corny 90's movie. Towards the end of the movie there is a dance for the senior class in...

Grace or Guilt

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Romans 6:1-3 Have...

Holy Week: Conqueror

1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3 And they entered in, and found not...

Did you know that there are over 7 billion people in the world right now? 7 billion – that’s a bunch of zeros. Many of those people have blogs and websites and you took time to stop by Single Perspective. Before I say anything else I want to say thank you for taking time out of your day to come by!

Here you’ll find life from my perspective; a mixture of all things that make me who I am. You may be wondering who that is exactly. I’m a single girl from the Midwest. I grew up around my grandparents farm and I’m pretty sure there is nothing better than a sunset over a wheat field in Kansas. I’m a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, and many other titles. The one I wear most proudly is Christian.

My hope is that as you look through my blog you see more of Christ than you do me. My prayer is that you will be encouraged and motivated to become stronger in Christ.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139-14a
