They Can’t Come In Unless They’re Invited

In recent months my niece informed me that she didn't think she had ever seen the 1992 movie Buffy The Vampire Slayer. If you've never seen it, just know it is a very cheesy and corny 90's movie. Towards the end of the movie there is a dance for the senior class in...

Grace or Guilt

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Romans 6:1-3 Have...

Holy Week: Conqueror

1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3 And they entered in, and found not...

Holy Week: Rest

62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63 saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 64 Command therefore that the...

Holy Week: Good Friday

55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: 56 among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children. matthew 27: 55-56 25 Now there stood by the cross...

Holy Week: The Betrayal

21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. 23 Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of...

Holy Week: Worth The Sacrifice

6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, 7 there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. 8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what...

Holy Week: He Understands

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask...

Holy Week: Complete Holiness

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And...

Holy Week: Palm Sunday

Boy, can life change quickly! One day you're being hailed a king with palm branches and garments being spread on the ground as you pass by with the crowd singing your praises and the next thing you know you're being rejected and crucified. Oh what a fickle people we...

Did you know that there are over 7 billion people in the world right now? 7 billion – that’s a bunch of zeros. Many of those people have blogs and websites and you took time to stop by Single Perspective. Before I say anything else I want to say thank you for taking time out of your day to come by!

Here you’ll find life from my perspective; a mixture of all things that make me who I am. You may be wondering who that is exactly. I’m a single girl from the Midwest. I grew up around my grandparents farm and I’m pretty sure there is nothing better than a sunset over a wheat field in Kansas. I’m a daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, and many other titles. The one I wear most proudly is Christian.

My hope is that as you look through my blog you see more of Christ than you do me. My prayer is that you will be encouraged and motivated to become stronger in Christ.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
